Martha Ramos Duffer, Psy.D.,
Licensed Clinical Psychologist, Executive Coach & Organizational Consultant
Martha brings over twenty years of experience working with leaders and organizations at local, regional, and national levels. As a licensed clinical psychologist inspired by neuropsychology, behavioral economics, and interpersonal neurobiology, she founded Quantum Possibilities to bridge contemporary research and ancestral wisdom with organizational development. Her unique approach synthesizes scientific inquiry on human behavior, Appreciative Inquiry, and systems frameworks.
Martha's diverse background spans private practice psychology, university teaching and consulting, executive leadership of community-based organizations, and organizational development work. Her passion lies in helping people and organizations expand into possibilities they had stopped daring to dream. She thrives when supporting transformational growth that honors both individual potential and systemic change. When not consulting, Martha enjoys reading, ocean adventures, traveling with friends, and watching wildflowers bloom in her Austin, Texas home.
Wendy Martinez,
Communications, Systems Development & Operations Specialist
Wendy combines expertise in communications, project management, and systems development with a fierce commitment to creating opportunities for people to excel. Growing up between Santa Ana, California and El Paso, Texas, she developed a passion for addressing economic injustice and its impact on human development. Recognizing the power of language and design to create meaningful connections, she pursued communications studies in Austin.
Currently serving as Assistant Director of Systems and Operations in Admissions at St. Edward's University, Wendy specializes in creating environments where students and employees can fully express themselves and contribute their skills toward building the world they envision. Her approach emphasizes operational excellence as a pathway to human flourishing. Outside work, she finds joy in music, dancing, art and design, nature observation, and spending time with family, including her cat and beloved nephews.
Jesús Ortega, L.M.S.W., M.U.P.
Licensed Social Worker, Trainer, Consultant & Social Justice Advocate
Jesús brings over twenty-five years of experience in nonprofit management, program development, and organizational development, with recent leadership as Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Dell Medical School, UT Austin. As Adjunct Faculty of The UT School of Social Work, he combines academic rigor with practical expertise in promoting economic, social, and environmental justice.
A native of Venezuela who came to Texas via New York, Jesús has held executive positions spanning urban planning, economic development, LGBTQ advocacy, and innovative program design. His notable roles include Deputy Director at Alamo Area Resource Center, Executive Director at Out Youth, and developing groundbreaking curricula on masculinity and violence prevention. His multicultural perspective and fluency in Spanish and Portuguese enhance his ability to work across diverse communities. Jesús holds degrees in Urban Planning (CUNY), Social Work (UTSA), and Nonprofit Management (Columbia Business School). When not working, Jesús comes alive through dancing, traveling, and time at the beach.
Nicole Burrowes, Ph.D.
Historian, Educator & Social Movement Strategist
Nicole is a historian and educator specializing in African American, Caribbean, and Latin American Studies at Rutgers University. Her expertise in the historical roots of inequity and social movements informs her facilitation and training work on racial equity, leadership development, community organizing, and systemic change. She brings a unique perspective that connects historical analysis with contemporary organizational transformation.
With extensive experience spanning academia, nonprofits, and philanthropy, Nicole has held leadership roles including Director of Finance at Firelight Media, positions at the Schomburg Center and Children's Defense Fund, and co-founding two grassroots organizations. Her scholarship and activism focus on social justice movements, with numerous publications and prestigious fellowships from organizations including the American Council of Learned Societies and Open Society Foundations. Nicole holds a Ph.D. in History from CUNY Graduate Center and has been recognized as one of "21 New Yorkers to Look Out for in the 21st Century." When not working, Nicole loves to spend quality time with family and friends and travel in ways that allow her to connect meaningfully with local communities.
